Blood & Marrow February 2017 Vol 1.2 |
Perhaps one of the most grueling chemotherapy a patient has to endure is during myeloablative conditioning prior to bone marrow transplant. It tests the limits of human body to survive with all its defenses down. Yet resilience and fortitude of our patients, more often than not, takes them through this taxing time. From this issue, we are starting a series of ‘Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Survivors’ to pay tribute to the fighting spirit of our transplant patients who, by the grace of God, have successfully defeated potentially fatal diseases. There will be many more interesting and informative articles in future issues of B&M. Everybody is welcome to contribute. Looking forward to your participation. Till next time,
