A lot has been happening on haematological front in the world. In this issue you can read ‘take home messages’ from papers presented on myeloma in ASCO 2017. Indeed the outlook of patients suffering from this incurable disease has changed drastically. From being a lethal form of blood cancer with no known cure, myeloma is now regarded by many as a chronic disease with many effective treatment alternatives. I hope that post graduate students would be benefitting from a revision series which is contributed by PGs themselves.
